Dr. Diamond, a native of New York, grew up on Long Island. He attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. While at SUNY Buffalo, Dr. Diamond was awarded a membership into Psi Chi, the National Honors Society in Psychology. He later attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine where he was the recipient of the Quintessence award for Excellence in Periodontics, by Quintessence Magazine. Dr. Diamond then attended the prestigious Periodontal Residency Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore where he obtained a Certificate in Periodontics and a Masters of Science Degree in Oral Biology. While at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, he trained with nationally and internationally recognized clinicians. Since ending his formal educational career, he continually keeps abreast of the latest published literature and attends a wide array of Continuing Education courses each year to provide up-to-date treatment options for his patients.
Dr. Diamond is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (Board Certified), a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society (past Business Manager), the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Team for Implantology (ITI, Basel, Switzerland), The Academy of Osseointegration, and the Dental Clinic Club of Philadelphia.
When not in the office, Dr. Diamond enjoys spending time with his wife Shiri and their three beautiful children. He is a certified scuba diver and also enjoys traveling, movies, skiing, sculpting and exercising.
